I've seen a few really, REALLY old threads about this, but none of them seem to answer the question. I can't find any documentation on the debug menu and debugging tools of dolphin. I'm looking to try and do a little asm hacking, but the memory breakpoints I'm setting in the Breakpoints tab don't seem to be firing.
Can anyone point me to a guide on using the debugging tools? Was the debug menu even documented?
Information:
Dolphin ver: 4.0.1
OS: Windows 10 x64
Update Space
So it appears the breakpoint tab places a breakpoint at specific addresses of program memory, but I don't know how to configure a breakpoint to fire on accessing a particular RAM address. Anyone have experience with this?
update 2
Okay, so apparently there is a menu within a version of Dolphin called "Dolphin DebugFast" which allows you to accomplish this. However, it appears to be a special version of Dolphin 3.0. Ideally, I'd like to be able to use this menu with dolphin >4.0. Do I have to build my own custom version of dolphin? If so, is there a guide / are there resources?
