I bought two black remotes and synced them to the Dolphin bar successfully, but I just bought two new remotes, red and blue, to match my player 1 and player 2 control panel on my arcade system and I know when I get them in the mail in a few days, they are going to want to sync up as player 3 and 4 instead.

I don't have a real Wii or any other device to sync these old black ones to, but I need to unsync them so I can sync up the new blue one as player 1 and the red one as player 2.

How would I go about this?

Player order is determined on reconnection, not on sync.

So when the Dolphin Bar syncs the new Wiimotes to 3 and 4, as long as I turn them on in order...3, then 4, they'll show up in Dolphin as player 1 and 2 then?

They don't sync as a player, they just sync. Regardless of how many you sync the first one that reconnects will be player 1.

Ok, great.  I assumed they were set as player 1 and 2 because the first one had one light on the left lit and the second one I synced had the 2nd light from the left lit.

This is good news.

I just assumed the new two I'm getting would use the 3rd and 4th lights and assumed they would be set up as players 3 and 4, respectively.

So what does it mean if they do light up the 3rd and 4th lights?  Does it matter in any way?

Thanks,

--J

If the 3rd light is lit the emulated wii thinks 2 others are connected (not just synced)
