May anyone please explain me how to shutdown my wiimote - so that it doesnt eat all my batteries ?

Does it shutdown itself after a couple of minutes on his own even if i m using dolphin and not an hardware wii ? Or do I have to press some button ( s ) on the wiimote after closing dolphin ?

After a week of around 2 hours a day of use, the wiimote lights say my batteries have 75 % energy left. Is it that I haven't switched the wiimote properly in these days when finished playing ? Sad

What I do to shut the wiimote, is keeping the small Power button ( which is on top left of the wiimote if i face all the buttons and the B button is behind ) pressed for a couple of seconds, and everything seems to shutdown.

75 % energy in 10 hours of playing is fine, or am I switching the wiimote off the wrong way ? Sorry but i m hopeless Big Grin

Just unpair your Wiimote from your computer after playing and it will turn off.

The battery indicator is misleading. Using rechargeable batteries, my Wiimote last ~20 hours without the Nunchuk. In the first 7 hours, the battery indicator is always 4 lights. In the next 7 hours it is 3 lights. 4 hours for 2 lights and the last 2 for 1 light. I don't know in the case of primary batteries (non-rechargeable).
