netbook-only? i use it on my laptop and it works! Tongue

after using that option you basically use your cpu to its full speed all the time therefore you are using let's say 2.00GHz on your 2.00GHz cpu all the time instead of a changing cpu speed that never reaches 2.00GHz.

and ram disk is worth using it is one of the best options on the list other than the rmclock option

and all of the options increase your performance. use them all together and see a dramatic change in speed

Tip:
Power Defragmenter.
Open it and defragment your Dolphin and game dump folders. Who knows, could maybe improve FPS.

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

How in the world is defragmenting going to give more fps, when most console games load everything in ram before starting the game?
