Well I know nothing about game booster, but let me see if I can help...
Since you got dual core opition on, make sure you are using openGL plugin and not the DX one. Also make sure your games aren't on a net drive (like shared documents or something like that). Go in the dsp plugin opitions and put on the Enable Other Audio setting. Try turning the antialias under gfx settings off (gives me about 5 fps more), turn off bilinear filtering (3 more fps) and also turn off auto scale (3 more fps again)
In configuration, turn on all the Advanced settings, but most important, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LASTEST GFX DRIVERS.
