What exactly do you mean by "a wii rom"? A disc image (ISO, WBFS...), or a WAD, or something else?

To make it show up in the Disc Channel: First start the Wii Menu, then right-click on the game in Dolphin's game list and press "Change Disc". (If you don't have the game in Dolphin's game list, you can use File > Change Disc instead.)

It's not possible to make discs show up as separate channels - they can only be launched from the Disc Channel.

If Animal Crossing doesn´t work (the Disc Channel shows an error) then the game´s region is different from that of the System Menu´s.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.
