How to run dolphin in 4k

I have the resolution set to 3840x2160 but the IR only goes to 4x which is around 2k. I edited the config file to EFBScale = 9 but it seems to have made it worse quality. How can I get it to run 4K?

Update to the latest version of dolphin.

Use the latest development builds! 4.0.2 is not able to do that.

Anything 4.0-6736 and newer will have it!
