How to remove very annoying popup/error message "IOS_FS: failed to write new FST file

Hi all,

recently a couple revisions now, I'm getting this very werid & annoying error massage popup in dolphin emu for android (dev versions).

"IOS_FS: failed to write new FST file"

this annoying popup appears when dolphin emu is opened up and persits for a while,
it eventually goes away, but even if i close the app, it still shows up on the screen and when i close the screen on reopen?

how to remove this very annoying error meassage and what does it mean?

would a ifx be to export all my current data using the export data feature for dolphin, uninstall the old emu, install a new one and
then import the data from the .zip file back into dolphin?

this issue started happening after a couple of the recent updates, 5.0-16xx and onwards even to the lastest 5.0-16655
what causes this error message to show up on launch of dolphin emu?

is it related to the wii nand folder?

it happens on the dev version of dolphin not sure about the beta version?

Could you try to find the exact version in which this problem first happens? I tried to reproduce the problem myself but didn't succeed. Knowing the first version it happens in would help a lot with narrowing down which part of the code the problem is in.

um, finding the exact version of which this specific issue first happened isn't possblie now cause i had updated dolphin so many times
that i cannot remeber which version it first happened on.

right now im at version 5.0- 16655 or need to check the exact one.

but i was thinking of a possbile fix to this issue,

maybe if i backed up & exported my dolphin data in a .zip folder using the export data option in dolphin,
then uninstall the current version im using, and install the newest version dev of dolphin,
& reimport my data into this new version of dolphin from the .zip folder?

not sure if that might work?

also, when i export all my dolphin data in a .zip folder what data is backed up in this .zip folder?

is it only controller proflies/Game settings etc? or is game save data (.GCI) files also backed up?

if they are not backed up i can manually backup them up via copy/paste method.

I'm not sure if it will make any difference, but feel free to try it.

It backs up everything that's in the User directory (the directory whose path is shown when you go to Config > User Data). If you're unsure what's included, export it and take a look inside the zip file.

Saves are included unless you've fiddled with Dolphin's path settings.
