What you have to do is after number 3 you have to right-click the directory where you downloaded it (dolphin-emu-read-only in the tut) and select TortoiseSVN -> Apply patch... Browse to the patch file and select Open. If a window pops up that says something about wrong directory would you like to use this other one say yes. In the little window titled "File patches blah blah..." right-click one of the file names and select "Patch all" Then continue with the rest of the steps (4-6) NOTE: if the file names that you want to patch are red that means that the patch code conflicts with the code in those files. You'll have to either manually edit those or get an updated patch.
In the VC++ Directories dialog, use the dropdown to select Win32 or x64 depending on the type of build you want to configure.
Use the Show Directories pulldown to select "Include files" and make sure that your DirectX include directory is listed. If it isn't, add the directory. Use the Show Directories pulldown to select "Executable files" and make sure that your DirectX bin directory is listed. If it isn't, add the directory. Use the Show Directories pulldown to select "Library files" and make sure that your DirectX lib directory is listed. If it isn't, add the directory. DirectX include directory = C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (August 2009)\Include DirectX Executable directory = C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (August 2009)\Utilities\bin\x86 or x64 DirectX lib directory = C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (August 2009)\Lib\x86 or x64 |
