ok so open notpad and copy and paste this in...

TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
TASKKILL /IM SIDEBAR.EXE /F
start /high /wait DolphinIL.exe
start explorer.exe
start sidebar "without .exe"

or if that doesnt work rite try this one...

TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
start /high /wait Dolphin.exe
start explorer.exe

now go file save and save it as anything but you have to make sure you end it in .bat

otherwise it wont work...now open this file instead of dolphin...

It will essentially give you between 1-10 extra fps depending on if you have a strong system with losts of fsps (get 1-5 extra) or a weaker system will usually get more...

Also you can take out the dolphin.exe or whatever and paste in any game on your computer or other system such as pcsx2.exe...

gave me about 4 extra fps

If you download gamebooster you get even more fsps...props go to manaurys for the idea...he has the link under the thread

also with game booster when you click to switch to gaming mode...a box should pop up to close background programs...if not then just get sidebar.exe running or something...but dont click ok yet... look for check boxes. click show all current processes now check each and every one but DO NOT CHECK EXPLORER.EXE

the .bat program closes explorer.exe and runs dolphin at the same time Smile
Now when you click close programs you will free up to 500 mb of ram or whatever it is!! lol

dolphin speed boost
did it work for anybody else??

Another good program is the Ramdisk... it uses you extra ram that you have to make another folder in mycomputer that makes things run a little bit faster....use only if you have like 6+gigs of ram.

yep or else you could edit the batch file with the absolute address of Dolphin...

EG

Code:
TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
TASKKILL /IM SIDEBAR.EXE /F
start /high /wait C:\Users\Menace\Desktop\Dolphin\DolphinIL.exe
start explorer.exe
start sidebar "without .exe"
"All computers wait at the same speed"

This .bat close the graphic interface of Windows and open the emulator.

and re-open Windows when close the emulator.

It closes explorer.exe which is the process that is the desktop as such. It is the application you use to select/move/copy data and launch other applications as well as switch them. It tends to be a very CPU and memory hungry process but it usually doesn't have that much of an effect on other software

lol yea but if you combine it with the other program... game booster...you shut off every process except the absolute essentials to keep the computer running...lol its amazing...i can play metroid prime at over half speed now instead of 1/6 of the original speed most of the time!! its amazing! lol
