Okay, I literally JUST tested this with Luigi's Mansion on the latest dolphin emulator, and it WORKS. I played around for a few minutes out of boredom and figured out how to do it, of course it's only for the Gamecube Controller, but still... Smile

All you have to do is uninstall joypad and reinstall it using the "magic joy box after Nov-1-2007" installer from the mayflash website. Especially if you bought your joypad after said date.

Start dolphin and pick a game that you want to make analog work for, for setting this up I suggest Luigi's Mansion on the gamecube. (If you don't already have the ISO pm me and I'll see what I can do about that *wink*)

Now before you do anything, make sure you clear the settings completely with the 'clear' button. Then Select the "DInput/0/TigerGame XBOX+PS2+GC Game Controller Adapter" as the controller/input type.

I know this sounds odd, but map the sliders first(leave EVERYTHING else blank, including the left and right shoulder buttons) and get them working by checking it in game, I did mine while running Luigi's Mansion.

Now go to the "threshold" option and set that factor to "80" instead of 90.

IMPORTANT!: Before continuing make double sure that the left analog is Slider 0 + and the right analog is Slider 1 +

Now map the Left and Right Shoulder buttons to their respective slots.

Afterward map the other stuff the way you normally would. If the C stick acts weird while playing Luigi's Mansion simply map the Up and Down axis on the C stick to the opposite axis. IE: Down for "Up" in game and Up for "Down" in game. Smile

Happy analoging =3

I'm not so sure where to post my problem, but I guess here is better than making a new thread.
My Mayflash 3in1+GCC worked without any drivers, except for the analog sliders. It didn't recognize them when I pressed them, only when I let go of them, thus incorrectly setting them to Slider0- and Slider1-. So I had to go to the rightclick menu and set them to +.
However, I have to press them almost to digital trigger level so that the bar gets red at all. I've tried changing the threshold level, but this didn't help. How can I change this so that they become more sensitive?

By the way, I already tried installing the drivers (035). This didn't change anything, though.

I had a similar problem with my 3in1 MJB, on OSX. Worse, in a way, as I couldn't even select input for the "slider" and "dial" controls because they were presented as "Axis Unk". After getting them named to "Slider" and "Dial" with a custom patch to some files under Source/Core/InputCommon/Src/ControllerInterface/OSX/ I then ran into the same thing you did: The input range is basically half gone.

It turns out that Dolphin was treating them as if they were axis inputs, split into two inputs on either side of a midpoint. Given that you have Slider0- and Slider0+, and the same again for Slider1, I can only imagine that the same thing is happening for you.

The patch I created for OSX is somewhere in the patches forum; if you know enough C++ to be dangerous and can do your own builds, it might help as inspiration. Otherwise, you'll need to find someone else to do the damage for you.

I hope this information is of help to you.

I some times find you need to manually edit it and make it NOT the mapping. Say you have "Slider 0+" make it "!Slider 0+". This seems to have been fixed on the latest version.

Well, uh, wow, that was one confusing post. I believe that in this post, you are talking about getting the analog triggers to work on the "TigerGame XBOX+PS2+GC Game Controller Adapter". You might want to point that out before someone goes and kills the drivers for their Xbox 360 controller or a Blissbox adapter. Just saying.

As for info that anyone can use, assigning analog controls to analog triggers is fairly simple. You need to assign each one to it's own analog function. Sliders, rotations, dials, or axis' if you have some to spare. And of course, don't assign the triggers to + and - values for the same function otherwise they'll cancel eachother out, like what happened to nyef. As for how to configure your specific controller, that depends on alot of specifics regarding drivers and what not.
