I've tried everything to resolve the ability to save Game Data in Netplay. Since it was disabled in Build 6500, I need to a work around as I cannot use older builds anymore for some unknown reason (computer won't load them). So perhaps someone can help me by informing me how myself and my partners online can load/write SD cards in Netplay so we can play games like Dokapon Kingdom and save while playing online?

The inability to load from NAND has nothing do with SD cards. SD cards should be working already.

I've tried creating and emulating SD cards, even mount virtual ones. The problem though is have no idea how to make the Dolphin lock onto them and save to them. If I knew this, I could save data to them and share the saves with my friends. No problem. But I do not know how to do this and no guide I can find anywhere tells me how I can do it. So please help me. 01-26-2016, 04:13 AM
Is there any answer to my question on HOW? All I find is information on Smash Brothers, saying I need to have some preloaded .elf file and an specialized designed apploader and mod. I just want the Dolphin to Load & Save games in Dokapon Kingdom while in Netplay. Please can someone address this issue.

To use an SD card, enable Config > Wii > Insert SD Card. The SD card is by default stored in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Wii\sd.raw, and you must manually make sure that every player in the netplay session has identical copies of this file. This will let you use an SD card like on a real Wii. That means that you will be able to save and load data on SD cards if the game supports it. I'm not aware of a single game that lets you save game progress to an SD card, but there are a few that let you save things like screenshots.

Well, I need to be able to Load/Save Data while in NetPlay. Only older builds let me do this, but I can no longer use older builds and I have no idea why. How can we Load/Save Data using the current version of Dolphin? 01-26-2016, 07:02 AM
Sorry, it's impossible to save data for Wii games in the current version of Dolphin.

I was able to use them yesterday. But even complete REFORMATS of my C Drive & Reinstalling of Windows 10 cannot allow me access into older builds. I desperately need some sort of work around. We run a Live Stream of Dokapon Kingdom and I need to get this working again!
That game does not support saving progress to SD card. That's just how the game was made. It saves to the Wii internal memory, aka the NAND.
AFAIK we disable writing to NAND (saving) entirely in the latest development releases due to stability and syncing issues. If you want you can use the *two year old* "stable" version of Dolphin, which has none of the significant netplay improvements made over the past two years. I don't believe that has NAND writing disabled, but it'll probably desync if you sneeze too hard. You can find it on our downloads page. 01-26-2016, 02:09 PM
