Hello, newcomer here. I dumped Super Smash Bros Brawl using CleanRip and I'm confused on how to join the two iso files. I tried following the instructions on the guide but I must be following it incorrectly since when I try to enter the following line command (in quotes) "b/ RSBE01.part1.iso fulliso.iso" the command prompt says that "The system cannot find the file specified." What I am doing wrong? I did enter the directory of the location of the split isos (E:, which is my USB drive) as a separate command before the command in quotes. So I would like help with merging the two isos. I will supply additional information if needed.
How to join split iso files?

If I had to guess, I'd say you're basing that command on a very thoroughly Chinese-whispered version of my second ever post to these forums (https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-co...#pid198716).
The command you want is copy, with the /b switch, then a list of all the parts you have and finally the name you want the whole iso file to have. If your part files are called RSBE01.part<x>.iso, then you'll need to list all of these, and if they're not, that's probably why you're getting an error. If it's been split into three parts (i.e. if you've got 4GB chunks and have dual-layer mode on in CleanRip, which it needs to be for this game) the exact command you'll need is: Code: copy /b RSBE01.part0.iso+RSBE01.part1.iso+RSBE01.part2.iso RSBE01-full-iso.iso You'll need to add as many parts as you have (e.g. if you're using 2GB chunks, you'll have more .part<x>.iso files you'll need to add), if your files have different names, you'll need to change them in the command to match, and if you want the final complete iso to have a name which isn't what I've written at the end of the command, you'll need to change that (or rename it afterwards).

Which guide are you using? The Dolphin wiki's guide suggests the command "copy /b *.part?.iso fulliso.iso". (Commands have to be typed without quotes. The question mark in the command is supposed to be there.)
EDIT: I got ninja'd, but oh well. 11-01-2016, 08:21 AM
So I wasn't actually sending the commands to the right place before. Now that I figured out how to. I copied the command that AnyOldName3 put down and now it says "The syntax of the command is incorrect". I thought it had something to do with the fact that there is no file called "RSBE01.part2.iso" (there is only part0 and part1), so I tried removing the section of the command related to the nonexistent file. It still says "The syntax of the command is incorrect" however. Further advice would be appreciated. Also for JosJuice, I was trying to follow the guide on the wiki. Though I did mess up regarding the directory.

I just edited my post to not be wrong any more. Try it again.

I may have messed up again since I accidentally copied part0 over part1 overwriting it. I may have to redump Smash to get it to work. So I may or may not respond for a while if the files are overwritten or not.
Edit: It seems like I did overwrite part1. See you in an hour. 11-01-2016, 11:40 AM
Well after at least two hours. I have finally gotten Smash working on the emulator. AnyOldName3, thank you for your support. Though I have a question. Why did you include RSBE01.part2.iso in the command? I said there were only two isos, and RSBE01.part2.iso was not one of them.

CleanRip lets you change the chunk size, so three chunks is a possible thing it can output. I don't know what the default is, so I took a guess that showed enough things that you'd probably be able to figure out what was going on, which you did.

Hey, know this is an old thread, but I made a simple .bat file to merge the ISO files if it helps anyone. Just a simpler way do it for those uncomfortable with command line use.
