I want to hide the controls on the screen since I use the android emulator with a bluethoot joystick. I can't find the way and the on-screen controls are very annoying take away a lot of visibility.

In the in-game menu, go to Configure Controls > Toggle Controls, then press Toggle All and finally OK.

I find to switch controllers one simply has to swipe down from the top of the screen to access the menu.
Sorry for my ignorance but it was difficult for me to realize.

I have a Galaxy s10+ and cannot get the dolphin menu to pull down at all, as the normal Android notification bar comes down when I swipe down. I've tried disabling game launcher/tools or whatever it's called and still no avail. I don't completely understand the "screen shot" method as when I do that, either via the dolphin screen shot option or doing a screen shot through the phone itself, the 3 dots button still won't appear. Even pressing the button to show all running apps and then clicking dolphin again doesn't seem to work. The blue bar seems to appear for a brief fraction of a second, but not long enough to click and it isn't there when I click on the dolphin to go back to the app again. Ultimately, I just want to remove the on screen controls and I know I need to do this by selecting the 3 dots menu. I can press the back button while a game is on screen and I do get some options, "configure" being one of them, but nowhere can I find options to remove on screen controls. Help please, as I am frustrated

The interface has been updated in recent builds so, now you tap on the back button(android soft keys) to bring up the in game settings menu.

From the in game menu, it will appear as though “Pause Emulation, Take Screenshot, and Settings” are the only options. But from here you can scroll down just a bit lower and you’ll see an “Overlay controls” option. Click this and it will let you pick and choose which buttons you want to keep and which you want to toggle off. If you want all buttons off screen, choose “Toggle All”
