Hello everyone!

I am a longtime user, first time poster. Im a second year computer science major, and I've decided its time that I start jumping into some actual programming. I've always been fascinated by emulation so I was wondering how one would begin to help working on dolphin.

Thanks in advance!

Pick any issue that you are interested in from here: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list

Fix the issue. Attach the patch to the issue. If the code is reasonable, you'll get access to commit it to svn.

Dolphin needs more people working on the DSP HLE and LLE.Smile
That would help a lot.Big Grin

Sorry for the delay in this response, but are there any good problems for a beginner with emulation? I dont exactly know where to start working on this, and any pointers would be happily accepted. Also, if it turns out that this is too advanced for me, if I could get any pointers to good learning materials that would also be appreciated. In fact, it would be pretty cool to learn how to make an older gen console emulator.

Maybe try these:

Do you have a multi-monitor set up?
Do you notice the screen-saver starting while you are playing?
Do you use frame-skip?
