Hello,

I was wondering how I might get started as a dolphin developer. I have a pretty good amount of experience with c and c#, and I also know a lot of web development languages like node js, ember js, htmlbars, php, etc. How can I get started on some contributions? Do I just checkout the repo and start making commits that I believe addresses a bug or does dolphin follow a process like scrum agile? Whats the review process like? Is the dolphin team looking for additional developers?

I got started by checking out the issue tracker and tackling issues tagged as 'easy' to get a feel for the code base

You can just start making commits. Feel free to ask us on IRC if you're wondering about whether something is worth doing, but we don't have any coordinated process for deciding what to work on.

Basically, people leave comments on pull requests and you might have to address them. We don't really have a system for who reviews what. Depending on the type of PR, it might take a while for it to get approved and merged due to nobody being interested in reviewing it, unfortunately... But many other PRs get in pretty quickly.

We're always welcoming useful pull requests. And being a Dolphin developer is not some special rank, it's just what we call people who make pull requests Smile
