This has been taking me like over 3+ hours. Please someone help. What are the basic steps to get my wii controller connected?
I have the motionplus and the nunchuck. Can I get away without having the sensor bar?
I've successfully paired to my PC (windows 7, good hardware specs). The controller never rumbled though and the four LEDs continued to blink.
In dolphin 3.5, I've tracked my steps as the following:
- select 'Wiimote'
- under the 'Wiimote 1' field select 'Real Wiimote' from the dropdown menu
- ensure your bluetooth is turned on. Select 'Pair' then quickly press the SYNC button on the Wiimote. Have an explorer window open to see when the device pairs (Hardware and Sound>>Devices and Printers>>Bluetooth Devices). It should read 'Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR'
- Press 'Refresh' once you see that the device has paired and you should see the number of 'Real Wiimotes' in the dolphin menu go from 0 to 1
I'm not getting the 4 LEDs to stop blinking and the remote is not doing an initial vibrate to confirm the pairing.
I also notice that the Wiimote button in dolphin grays out once I start a game. So there's no more configuration I can do once a game starts.
Please, please, please help. I have internal bluetooth hardware on my laptop. Some workarounds have been to do something with Toshiba and an external dongle but I'd really not like to buy an external dongle.
