Previous problem is solved, so Mario Kart Wii works again.

I'm trying to play Mario Kart Wii on Dolphin for this: http://www.mariokartwii.com/f72/play-cus...61493.html , rather not mess with my Wii if Dolphin works just as fine.

The problem, as you can guess, is that I can't get Dolphin to detect the SD.raw file I made for this (through a SD Maker called MKSDmaker). I made the SD, put a HomebrewChannel.wad file in the root and the files for the custom tracks for MKW in the root (using WinImage). I put the SD.raw file in User -> Wii, and enabled usage of a SD card in Dolphin. But I can't figure out how to run the SD.raw file. Anyone knows how? I tried File -> Open, without result. Opening a game (MKW) just immediately runs it, skipping the SD.raw file.

I know I'm doing something wrong. Could anyone tell me what I need to do to make Dolphin use the SD file?

Delete your shader cache. In other words delete the files in the /User/ShaderCache folder.

If that doesn't work switch to a different revision.

Thank you very much, deleting the ShaderCache indeed solved that problem.

I have one more question now, updated the OP for that as I suppose another topic would only unnecesarily fill the forum (don't know what's prefered here).

Well, I'd create a new topic, because this is weird now. The OP asks a question, then the next three posts talk about a totally different topic... wtf ;P

Isn't there a Tools -> Wii Save Import which does what you want?

Greetings

Yeah, I thought about it, but I saw titles could be changed, so I did it like this (making the mention of a previous problem solved). I of course wouldn't do it in a topic with plenty of replies, but there were only 2, so I just went for it.

Wii Save Import doesn't do the trick. It wants a .bin file. A .raw file is what makes a SD file, and changing .raw to .bin makes it impossible to import like that.

for sd.raw you must check "Insert SD Card" in the Dolphin Configuration wii tab

Had checked it as soon as I started using SD.raw, but it didn't seem to do anything.
