I have a hard disk connected to my router (\\COMTREND\usb1_1) in order to share movies and wii games.
Every time I open Dolphin it check all the .wbfs game subfolders (I have 100 games) and it takes a while.
Is there any way to disable this check?

Thank you in advance.

You can't disable it currently. No game list is being produced without it.

You could optionally direct dolphin away from the folder so that it generates an empty list and be using the open option to run your games manually.
......?????

Separate your games into multiple folders. Have dolphin only look at the folder that has your favourite games in it, and then load the other games manually when you want to play them.

You could also use a decent networked filesystem. On NFS it takes <1s to scan my folders with ~75 games.

Well, it takes me >1s to scan my singular folder of four games on my internal HDD, so it might not exactly be the system that's so bad.

In my case it takes 1 minute to display the 100 games stored on my hard disk connected to the router.
The problem comes when "Search Subfolders" is enabled... but when it's disabled it can't find any game (all games are in separate folders, within the folder "wbfs")
I've tried to add 10 game folders manually and seems to be more faster. I could add my 100 games but I don't think this is the best way... I would prefer an option to scan manually every time I open Doplhin, like MAME.

It takes maybe half a second for me with ~40 games. 1 minute seems insane, unless you're using a really shitty usb flash drive or something.

I have like 150 games, and at worst it's around 5 seconds when changing builds. After the first run it's usually 1 second.
