How to decompress gcz files?

Noob to this emulator here.

I have a game that was given to me as a .gcz file. It is a gamecube game. The file does not appear with my other ISOs (I can confirm the rest of Dolphin works with my PC, 2 other games for both GC and Wii work perfectly, putting even my PS2 emulator to shame)

When I try to run this file, I'm told it's not a valid file type. I can't find any real help on how to decompress this file type. An old forum entry says that the file can be decompressed through the emulator by right-clicking it but I've found no such option as far as I can tell. It also says that there may be a bug preventing the emulator from decompressing lone gcz files.

Any help?

Add the folder the GCZ is stored in Dolphin Settings => Path, then the game will show up in Dolphin game list. From there, you can right-click it and choose decompress. If the game doesn't show up in the list after doing that then your GCZ file is corrupt or invalid. Another tool that can compress/decompress/convert GCZ files is Wiimms ISO Tools, but they're CLI only...

Ah. The file must be corrupt then, as it's not even appearing. Thank you.
