Hello,

I have search throught all the forum for a solution at the question "how to connect a wiimote to Dolphin 4.0. runing on Mac os x 10.9 , (and all so 10.8), but I haven't found any w2orking solution on all the forum of this site for non computer scientists people !

How can we simply connect our wiimote (official) to Dolphin ?
Of course, I have try all that I saw on the web, like press bouton 1 and 2 together, use darwin-wiimote, etc... but no one works !

My mac os x 10.9 detect perfectly my wiimote...
So, the problem must be on the dolphin-emulator !

I have the blue led flashing /twingle without stoping, and the round colored cursor of mac os x runing when I go with my mouse/cursor on all the Dolphin window.

Anybody have solve this problem ?
Is there simple solution ?
Why it doesn't work on my dolphin ? Is it possible that my macbook pro (i5 2.5 ghz, geforce 4000, osx 10.9, ram 8gb, hdd 1tb) is not supporting the wiimote ?
I have tried with one wiimote, two wiimote, with one "emulated wiimote" and one "real wiimote", and only with one "real wiimote".
I have tried to check all the option (like enable speaker data, disable speaker data , continuous scanning enable, continuous skaning disable...)
So I'm sure that I have all tried !

With the emulated wiimote, dolphin works well. So the problem is really connecting the wiimote to dolphin !
Please help me !
Thanks in advance .

Did nybody have solve this problem ?

4.0 is no longer supported because it´s somewhat old and has critical bugs. You need to have 4.0.2 at least.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 800/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

4.0.2 isn't on mac. Try a latest developer build.

Last developer OS X built does not fix the problem Sad hopefully they will.

I'm on a rMBP with OSX 10.9.4 (PM if you want to test it)

Continuing on from what I was about to say in the other thread, check which version of Wiimote you have. Is it a RVL-CNT-1-TR?

I have several of these, and they're a no-go.

Thumbs Up
I'm having similar issues. Took me over a day to get an original Wiimote (pre motionplus) to pair with dolphin at all. For reference, I was able to set the same controller up with OpenEmu in 5 minutes. And even once the Wiimote buzzed and lights indicated it was connected, I had no confirmation in dolphin, and no ability to control any of my games. I'd even be interested in trying to help solve this issue from a coding standpoint but I'm having trouble even finding out if it's a widespread or isolated issue. It's worth noting that I'm running OS X Yosemite Beta 2, though I haven't had compatibility issues with any third party apps in the past month, including OpenEmu.

Hope we can get this resolved!

I have the same config, except that I'm on Yosemite 10.10.1.

First of all, turn OSX Bluetooth ON. Then open Dolphin's Controller preferences, select "Real Wiimote" as the first Controller (or whichever port you like).

1) Press the RED Sync button on the back of your TR Wiimote.
2) Press "Refresh" on Dolphin's "Real Wiimotes" section of the Controller preferences repeatedly every 1 - 2 seconds.
3) At some point it will seem that Dolphin is trying to Sync with your Wiimote, but this step does not always work straightaway.
4) If your Wiimote has not vibrated, press the Bluetooth icon on your Mac's status bar and press "Disconnect" from the TR Wiimote entry.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 until your Wiimote vibrates and the "1" indicator on the Wiimote is ON.

I usually get to Sync my TR Wiimote on the 2nd or 3rd try of the steps above.
I really hope this works for everybody, despite that everyone is saying that there's a big problem with TR Wiimotes.

Here's a video proof on YouTube for this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuqYLx5A_9M&feature=youtu.be
