I'm running Windows 7. Dolphin runs fine, emulation works fine, the only problem is I can't configure my controller.

When using the plugin labeled "nJoy by Falcon4ever", which I assume is nJoy 0.4, and I hit the pad button on the menu bar, nothing happens. When I go to Configure->Plugins and hit Config, nothing happens.

If I use Dolphin KB/X360 plugin, I can open up the pad configuration menu, but it doesn't recognize the controller.

I have no problem using this controller with PJ64, and using a different controller doesn't change anything.

Please help!!
Argh! I figured it out, but now Dolphin crashes whenever I start an emulation with nJoy plugin!! It does NOT crash with KB/X360 plugin.

Download a newer Dolphin revision.
Read the stickied threads. (mainly the "getting started" thread)

Hmm... the one I'm running is revision 4771. Is there a newer one?

The getting started thread isn't very helpful regarding this.

Okay, I found it. Got 7264. Seems to solve the problem.

Thanks for the tip!
