I have a Logitech Dual Action too (the older model that's all blue and black). It's pretty simple to set it up in Dolphin (and any other controller for that matter). For GC games, click the GCPad button in Dolphin. Make sure the device matches the input device you want to use (it should say Logitech Dual Action). You can choose from SDL or XInput as the API for the input on Windows, IIRC. It shouldn't matter which one you choose, both are fine for the Logitech Dual Action. Click on a button you want to configure, such as the GC's A button. Dolphin will wait for input, at which point you're supposed to press a button on your joystick. Repeat this for the rest of the controller. Note, when you're done, you must click on Dolphin's Config button and go to the Gamecube tab, then set Port 1 to Standard Controller.
It's much the same for Wii games and the emulated Wiimote. Click the Wiimote button in Dolphin. You'll want to set Wiimote 1 to something like Emulated Wiimote. Click "configure" and then you'll get a screen just like when you click on GCPad; you'll configure your input from there. Note you can also emulate the Wiimote's extensions (e.g. the Nunchuk or the Classic Controller). There's a scrollbox for that; once you've selected the appropriate extension, click "configure" and then you'll be able to configure input for that specific extension. |
