How to Bypass Wiimote Saftey Screen

Good afternoon,

I need to bypass the Wiimote safety screen where it asks you to please plug in your nunchuck controller into your Wiimote. I would like to use my PS2 SmartJoy adapter. I have all the inputs and joysticks configured. If I use the mouse as the Wiimote to bypass the screen I then can only use the Wiimote instead of the PS2 controller. The game is Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. It just won't let me pass that screen unless I use a Wiimote.
