How to apply custom character creations to SSBB iso?

I saw many custom characters for brawl on youtube where not only their appearances were changed but even all their moves. I briefly looked into and found things like wiiscrubber, brawlbox, PSA and I am quite confused.

I looked at this topic http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=12745
and it seemed very helpful but i only want to change the character (appearance/moveset/animation) by downloading people's custom creations (that i find are in a .pac file, which i dont know what to do with)

is there a quick a simple way to do this? a link to a good guide that covers specifically what i want to do or your own personal advice would be much appreciated.

Well I don't have a guide, but I'll try myself.
1. Download Wiiscrubber 1.4
2. Use create key application (MakeKeyBin.exe)
3. Open your brawl iso in Wiiscrubber. Make sure no other applications have it open, and just hold enter through the errors.
4. Search through the data partition for your files. It sounds like you want to go to the 'fighter' folder.
5. In each character's folder there are a couple pac and pcs files, find the one you need to replace, right click it and select replace. Now find your downloaded file and hit OK, then let it rebuild the ISO.
These steps have worked fine for me, but if you're having any problems just post or PM me.

Thanks a bunch HawaiianPunch. Your description was very simple and clear and it worked beautifully. I just have one quick question though. What purpose does the MakeKeyBin application serve and is it necessary to launch it before opening my iso?

I think it's a decryption key used to break the encryption on Wii discs. You only have to run it once as the file will stay in the WiiScrubber directory.

haha even i didn't notice the rhyme. so just one last question. i promise it's the last. is there a way to replace multiple files all at once? say i want to replace the entire marth folder or even the entire fighter folder quickly and with minimal clicking.

When i try to open my iso with wiiscrubber it says io-seek and then it crashes.What do i do?
