i've been downloaded dolphin with an osd hotkey use safe textures cache and it is an old vertion 3537Dodgy soo the osd hot key is a patch file how can i add it to a new vertion emu ? Huh

if that cant be happened add the osd hotkey to a the new vertions

If you post a link to the "OSD hotkey" patch you're talking about, I'll build you a version using the newest SVN copy.

That has nothing to do with "OSD" (which stands for "On Screen Display"), that patch just adds the ability to turn "Safe Texture Cache" on/off with the "6" key on your keyboard. This patch has been superceded by subsequent changes to the SVN since then, including the ability to turn this option on/off in the Options screen for your GFX plugin.

If a game requires "Safe Texture Cache" to be enabled, enable it before starting the game. No game should EVER need this option to be turned on and off so often you'd need a hotkey for it.

1-i know what osd hotkey does

2-no there is a game it is harvest moon tot (to make the text message show up) that's why i want a hot key for safe cache .... anyway cant you put that to the new vertions

3-dont you think open gfx and go to advanced and turn safe cache on/off is soo hard any time you talk to some one in this game????

In that case, we'll have to look deeper into the mechanics behind the text displayed in Harvest Moon.

hey guys i want to add the fifo fix patch to dolphin r2037 but i don't have the source code of r2037 and i don't know how to do it exactly.
can someone please help?

don't bump a year old thread. Why 2037? You need to know how to compile and use tortoisesvn. Read the compiling sticky.
