How to add changes made to Dolphin?

I downloaded the Dolphin source code and made a very minor change to the Android side, but it was one which had been bugging me for quite some time. I would now like to submit this change for review by the developers of Dolphin. I believe this is called making a pull request, but I am unsure. I know the very basics of version control, and that's about it (I worked a little bit with Git back in 2013, but I have not touched it since and only know how to push to a repository). I read a bit on the wiki about forking the repository and after following those steps, confusing myself and then going back to square one I decided to come here in the hopes that someone could perhaps enlighten me on how to submit. Maybe my lack of knowledge on how this works is a sign I perhaps should not, but oh well

So, how do I actually submit this? For the past 8 months or so I've been really wanting to contribute to Dolphin because I love the project, and only now I've actually had time and motivation to do it.

On github, fork the repository so you have your own copy on the github page.

Clone the fork.

Make your changes (potentially in a branch instead of the default for your fork).

Push the changes back to your fork.

Find a button that says pull request on one of the forks, and choose the master branch of Dolphin's repo, and whichever branch of your fork you used as the destination and source.

You should have a new pull request for Dolphin's devs to debate and then hopefully include.
