You should probably make sure you're doing things per the unofficial Dolphin Laptop Performance Guide: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-laptop-performance-guide

Notably, look into ThrottleStop and forcing Dolphin to use your Nvidia GPU via the Nvidia Control Panel.
