1. A laptop is a PC
2. Because he needs the mobility

@souravstar
I'm not really the guy to talk to about laptop hardware so I'll let admin answer this one whenever he gets back.

Stretching the budget to 600-700 would yield far better results.

A highly clocked mobile Ivy or haswell with turbo boost will do the job. Smile

Specifically a laptop with 3630QM or higher

Or a 4702MQ or higher.

Gaming rig:

Intel Core I7 4702MQ (Haswell) @ 2.9Ghz Turbo Boost up to 3.20GHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 760m 2GB
8 GB RAM
750 GB HDD 7200 RPM

@ 1600X900 Resolution

Haswell is code name of 4th generation Intel Core I Series : i5 4xxxM , i7 4xxxMQ . I5 Haswell is not available atm , only i7 Haswell (i7 4700MQ , 4700HQ , 4702MQ ....)
Ivy Bridge is code name of 3rd gen Intel Core I Series : i3/i5 3xxxM , i7 3xxxQM
With 600$ , you ain't able to buy a haswell laptop atm
It's barely enough for i7 3630QM laptop , let alone Haswell i7

This is the cheapest Haswell laptop . However , it will overheat with Dolphin since it's not a gaming notebook

Mini PC :: (Show Spoiler)

Most not-terribly-demanding games Tongue you also seem to be using an older build. 3.5-367 is not the newest.
