Yes. The changes are made to the windows registry so reformatting would undo the patch.

I was just showing you how it works. The patch enables SLI by essentially tricking windows into thinking you have an x58 motherboard by editing some registry entries.

What card are you trying to sli? Generally for dolphin (or anything for that matter) buying a better video card is a much better option than sli.

gtx 470 superover clock it a very special model

gigabytes gtx 470 soc it a very special model
less heat less power consomation more oc and at it stock it already very more powerfull that all other gtx 470

Yes that would be a good video card for dolphin if you're planning to buy it. If you already have one then it's pointless to sli it since it;s already powerful enough to handle nearly anything you throw at it.
