How much VRAM does Dolphin need?

Hello, I was browsing newegg for a video card to play dolphin on IRx4 or 3xIR with Hi-Res textures. Previously I asked on the forums if the Radeon 7750 would be capable of doing 3 to 4xIR and people told me that it can but also recommended me the GTX 750. My question is, which version of the GTX 750 would I need? The non-TI or the TI version and how much VRAM do I need? I will be playing games like Xenoblade, The Last Story, One Piece Unlimited Adventure, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 and a ton of other games with the HD textures applied on and also for multiplayer experience.

The Ti is what you want. It will perform better and is very affordable for the performance it gives.

Bear in mind, though, that if you're sticking with the i5 3470 in your profile, you won't be able to play The Last Story or either SUper Mario Galaxy game at anywhere near fullspeed.

Wrong, I have 1GB and I do not experience VRAM-related stuttering.

Are you playing Xenoblade Chronicles at 3x IR or greater with an HD custom textures pack? 1GB is fine for everything else, but XBC with HD Textures without stuttering is iffy if you ask me.

The CPU in my profile is in the old rig I sold to my friend who needed a PC. I'm saving up on purchasing the i5-4670K or maybee wait for the haswell refresh K series cpu.

2GB should be safe, but you might want to ask people that play XBC with HD textures. 3GB would definietly work, but it sounds definitely like overkill.

That should be fine. I'm not a GPU expert, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't satisfy your needs. Get a second opinion though from the other regulars here Just to be sure of course.
