How many fans can I connect to my motherboard?

I know this has nothing to do with Dolphin but I'm trying to get better cooling and don't really know how can I check how many fans I can put in (I'm very sorry i know i'm a noob) my motherboard is an asus p8z77-v pro, maybe someone has this same motherboard and can tell me how many fans can be installed to it? Thank you so much in advance.

1 CPU fan, 4 Chassis Fan connectors, and 1 optional connector. You should be able to look at the board and find them, do you know what they look like?

Just grab the motherboard manual. It's all in there.

According to your manual, you can hook up to 4 (5 if you use the optional CPU socket) case fans to your motherboard.

You can do a lot more than that if you're willing to buy adapters or fan controllers. You can easily power 4+ fans from a single molex connector.

And seriously your motherboard should have come with a manual that has all of this stuff in it. Why didn't you look there? If you lost it you can always download the .pdf of the manual off of the manufacturers website by looking up your product and going to "support" or "downloads".

1 aftermarket cooler for CPU (front) , 1 case fan for the CPU and motherboard and SSD (back) , 1 case fan for side panel . I love to mount SSD and 2.5" HDD on the back of mobo , no love for 3.5" HDD Tongue

Unfortunately my case doesn't have ventilation for behind the mobo :c, and the aftermarket cooler I wanted wasn't in stock at the store so I went ahead and bought 3 120mm fans to put one in the front to blow air in, one below to blow air in, and one in the back to blow air out

Blowing air from the floor into the computer might not be wise unless you vacuum clean on a daily basis.
Dust filters do help tho, but I did try that for a bit and within 14 days I had a thin layer of dust inside my machine, even with dust filters.
I now have 2x140mm in at front, 1x120MM in from side panel, and 1x120MM exhaust in top and 1x120M back.

You want a bit more air in than out, so you don't get dust in thru cracks, this way you get a bit more air pressure inside than outside.

As someone living in a high dust environment: dust filters are computer murder. Think about it. They catch dust, which then builds a solid wall of gunk which prevents air from coming in. If you do this on every intake on the system, as would be needed for dust prevention? Yea, that's one great way to cook your computer. Fortunately my Core 2 Duo was tough enough that I had my coulda-had-a-V8 moment in time to prevent any harm.

Personally, I just use an air compressor to blow my computer out every month or two. It's far less maintenance than cleaning those bloody dust filters every few weeks. Plus, forgetting to blow out the computer for a month longer or whatever doesn't really matter, but forgetting to clean the dust filters is DEATH.
