How is RVZ file so small?!

I have an RVZ of Animal crossing and its only 19 MEGABYTES

how is this possible? The ISO is 1.4GB

Most of the ISO is just padding. Keep in mind that Animal Crossing originally was an N64 game, so it really isn't very big.
