I just upgraded to an i7 4770K with 2 geforce GTX 680's in SLI. I have yet to try the last story but I hear it's the most demanding game and currently only Haswell CPUs can achieve full speed. What clockspeed do I have to get it to in order to run the last story at full speed?

This is what I get in the Last Story on a 4770K @ 4.4ghz.

To get full speed, the 4770K would need to be overclocked to 6.37ghz.

Something is wrong somewhere, according to your screenshoot you are getting above fullspeed, since Last Story is 30 fps game Smile

I had Real XFB enabled, which makes the game 60/60fps.

Here is a screenshot with Real XFB disabled:

19 fps / 39 vps / 65% speed on 4770K @ 4.4ghz

I hear D3D runs this a lot better.

Skid why are you running it with LLE on? I'm pretty sure it doesn't need it.

BS... i ran it fine with a 2500k @ 4.8ghz and 2 GTX 670's 4gb SLI

I don't remember if i used D3D or Open GL.. i believe i tweaked some things here and there.

If i remember correctly i used Vsync @ 60 constant to limit tearing. Not sure though... Big Grin Big Grin

What speed did you get and in what area? It has been proven repeatedly that no current hardware can run this game at fullspeed everywhere.

Well that's expected since not even the real Wii runs this full speed everywhere. But does Dolphin also emulate the slowdowns without skipping the audio or does it treat it like your CPU isn't fast enough with skipping audio?

If the real Wii slows down, Dolphin will (sometimes) slowdown without having the audio slowdown depending on how the game is coded. I've had it happen in quite a few games at this point.
