Hi there,
I've a simple question to you: How do you store your roms?
In which format and what kind of compression?
Because I don't want to need over 4GB per game, I'm looking for the best way to compress and store them.
All ways I know:
1) As trimmed ISO (e.g. with WiiScrubber)
2) As cISO (compact Wii Iso) (e.g. with Wii Backup Fusion)
3) As gcz (Dolphin's compression format)
With 1) I've the problem, that it can destroy parts of the game, e.g. save function in HoD (vgl. Wiiscrubber question Thread)
Even if it makes (slightly) the smallest files - that's not acceptable.
So 2) and 3) are left, who have nearly the same size. Difference in functionality?? For which would you decide? Or rather: How do you store your roms?
Greetings
