I have been told that the reason behind frame rate drop and sound distortion was cause the emulator not running to the fullest speed. If this is true how do you boost the speed? Is this a setting or does this only have to do with hardware limitation?
How do you speed up the andriod version of the emulator to the fullest?

An Snapdragon 820 at least (since I assume that you're talking only about smartphones) , and not all the games will work smoothly, they are reasonably playable, but only a few are really smoothly, so you can wait for better processors or go with it, for now I'm happy with my 820, I can play games with "good framerates" (For example Wind Waker is around 25 fps all the the time which is a good result for a mobile I think ). In summary, if you're happy with that "playable" state go for an 820 if not wait until some company make a processor with a really good performance per core

They are consistent cpu performance under load, single core performance, mobile GPUs supporting all the api extensions Dolphin needs to render games properly and mobile GPU driver quality. The new Vulkan api and Opengl 3.2 pretty much takes care of almost all of Dolphin's graphical extension needs and Qualcomm's GPU drivers are getting better. The cpu performance is the one that's still tricky. We're all waiting to see how Qualcomm's new 835 chip handles Dolphin. Realistically, good dolphin mobile CPU performance is probably a few years away. 04-06-2017, 03:05 PM

A lot of users don't realize that just because Console A runs fine, that doesn't mean Console B in the same gen will too. You're comparing apples to oranges. 04-07-2017, 02:11 AM

I have an SD820 and I find WW mostly playable as well, but I've been trying to determine the optimal settings. It seems to me that moving the CPU clock speed is the tricky setting. Setting it in the 20's makes the sound and music run much better, but the framerate seems to stutter more. Yet if I go into the 50's or higher than the sound is horrible. Currently I have it set to 36% and it seems to be a good balance. 04-09-2017, 06:49 AM
Mess with the CPU Overclock settings. Try and go all over the place with the percentile. Super Smash Bros Melee runs better at 16-17% than 18-20%
