Is it even possible? My four buddies and I would love to play through it.

I saw that you can change the ports to GBA but it doesn't seem to do anything and the gamepads no longer respond after switching it.

Thanks in advance.

I remember setting this game up with 5 gamecubes, four of them with the Game Boy Player attachment Smile that was fun. Ah, I've never used visual boy advance though, not sure how to set it up Undecided

configure zelda 4 swords with GBA emulator

you should need one processor core per GBA emulator, plus the two for Dolphin.

minimum 4 core processor for two player action.

GBA emulation is has very low requirements compared to dolphin. If you can run dolphin well, you can probably run dolphin + however many VBA-M instances as you want.

Btw are there other games that work fine with the "GC+GBA stuff" on Dolphin?

No, because it takes forever to "Call Tingle" on Wind Waker, regardless of what everyone says
  • Intel Core i7-2600 QC processor (8MB Cache, 3.4GHz)
  • CPU Instructions : MMX, SSE (1, 2, 3, 3S, 4.1, 4.2), EM64T, VT-x, AES, AVX
  • ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5
  • RAM: 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

My wife and I played through the whole game together. It worked really well, but sometimes things would slow down to almost annoying speeds. But that was 2 instances of vga and dolphin on a fairly behind quad core processor. If I had the hardware, I would of loved to play it through full speed.
Intel i7 3770k 3.8G OC to 4.2G
16 Gigs DDR3 RAM
GeForce GTX 660 with 3Gig DDR3 Video Memory
Windows 8.1 64 Bit
