Hi, i'm pretty new to modding and i managed to open up game files, but when i try to make an iso Dolphin says: This is not a WII iso, which is true so how do you make a WII iso file? Thanks in advance.

The easiest way is to get a Wii, softmod it to add The Homebrew Channel (googling it should yield easy instructions) and then use that to launch CleanRip. That'll put an ISO file on an SD card or USB drive. Depending on how you've set things up, it may be split into multiple parts, but once you put the card/drive in your computer, you can use one of many scripts available on these forums to put the parts together (searching the forum for join split iso file should get you relevant threads).
If you don't have a Wii, you can pick a used one up fairly cheap, and then once you're done ripping all your games, you can sell it again. If you don't have original game disks to rip, then we can't give you any help without risking legal trouble, but the Wii was a popular console, so most of the good games can be bought used for pretty cheap.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X RAM: 48GB GPU: Radeon 7800 XT 05-10-2019, 04:06 PM

I think they're asking about how to rebuild a Wii ISO after extracting one. |
