How do I type with my keyboard in City Folk?

I want to be able to use my keyboard to type in City Folk and not have to select the letters, here is an example of someone doing it. Not sure if they are using Dolphin or a Wii but yeah: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eUhvPbpB2s

It's probably Config -> Wii -> Check "Connect USB Keyboard". As I didn't find anything to "configure" it, it probably might be just using your own keyboard.
