It's never really occurred to me until now that Dolphin automatically skips the Gamecube boot screen.
I can't find any answers online other than de-checking the "skip BIOS" button in the configure menu.
According to a few people, that is supposed to be the answer. Although upon booting a game it continues to skip the boot screen. The odd thing is that when I go back to the configure menu
the "skip BIOS" box is checked again.

Anyone know a solution? It's not emulator breaking or anything, but I sure would like to see that sweet boot screen.

(I'm using Dolphin 4.0 by the way)

You probably don't have the bios files placed in the proper directory, it can't do anything other than skip the bios if it doesn't exist in the first place.

I'm fairly sure they're in the correct location.

Is that right?

Name them as ipl.bin and put inside the right folder (Sys\GC\EUR, Sys\GC\JAP or Sys\GC\USA). I'm not sure but I think that after global directory marge (3.5-2348 and newer), you should put them in <place to your global directory>\GC
HP ENVY dv6-7300 Notebook PC                 ASRock Z97M OC Formula
CPU: Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 2.4 GHz          Intel Pentium G3258 @ 4.2 GHz (OC)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M @ 2 GB GDDR5     NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 @ 1 GB DDR3
RAM: 16 GB @ DDR3-1600 (2x8 GB)              16 GB @ DDR3-1600 (4x4 GB)
OS:  Windows 10 (Insider Preview)            Windows 10 (version 20H2)

I've done all that already, as shown in my previous post.

GC Bios also requires LLE Audio , otherwise a loud horrible noise breaks your speakers, they should be an Option in Dolphin to
Boot to the GC Bios.

Any idea where the option is? I've only been pointed in the direction of the skip BIOS box, which hasn't fixed anything for me yet.

your post doesn't show the ipl, it shows the font files.
the region of the ipl must match the game that you are booting
