How do I get Mario Kart Wii working online on Dolphin but with no Wii console?

Hi,
I hope someone can help me.

I want to play mario kart wii online, I love this game. but i no longer have a wii console, and i read that i have to do something with NAND, not sure what this is, something to do with the MAC address?

I followed this youtube tutorial to set up wiimmfi, to hopefully play it online... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUp6VotN1sk

I waited the 7 days in excitement of playing MK online

But then i got the error code 23918 with the message "Wiimmfi access denied (maybe standard NAND of Dolphin)"

ive watched many videos, and been to the wiimmfi error code page, but i dont seem to find a solution

Is it possible to play MK wii online using dolphin without a wii console?

I excitedly hope and pray there is a way, does anyone know how to do so?

You can't play on Wiimmfi unless you have a real Wii that you can dump the NAND memory of. What you can do is use Dolphin's netplay feature instead of Wiimmfi, but it's a bit different since it lets you play the game's offline mode over the internet instead of letting you play the game's online mode.

Netplay allows multiplayer that was originally on one console with multiple instances of dolphin. In MKWii that would be local splitscreen.

There is a netplay browser, but you might have more luck finding people on some discords.
