I've played the real Wii NSMB game and to get Mario to fly in certain parts of the game you have to shake the Wiimote. So if I want to play the game in dolphin how is that going to work ? I'm currently using a Xbox one s controller.

You can configure a button to simulate a wiimote shaking.

So does it work good having a button doing the shake motion? I won't have a harder time finishing the game doing it that way then if I was using the real thing ?

If anything I'd say it's easier because you just have to spam one button (if you really wanted to you could even make it so pressing the button once shakes it several times).
