How come same Wii version of a game can run better then the Gamecube version ?

I cant try that many because i dont have that many Wii games, but i have been told by a few people that sometimes the same game can play better in Dolphin if its the Wii version, is this true, if so why ?

And if it is true, i might have to start getting some more Wii games, just hate the stupid controls, trying to map the buttons to a normal controller lol

It depends on the game. I'm not aware of any specific game that has both a GC version and a Wii version where the Wii version is easier to emulate.
