How can i use gampade instead of wiimote and nunchuck

Hello,

I was reading in other websites about needing a wiimote ,is there any possibility that it could run with a Logitech Cordless Rumplepad 2. Well everything works fine but when you need to shake the remoto to start the level i can't make it work. i tried on the new donkey kong & new mario bros.wii. i tried diffrenet things under wiimote setting but i can't make it work. Any advice ? Thanks
