AFAIK you need to copy your NAND from an already hacked wii, if not I's just guess that it works the same way as on a wii

Also, make sure you turn your Wii U on without the SD Card. Put your SD Card only after you are in the "Press start" screen from SSBB. Wii U check the content of the SD card and delete the Smash Stack exploit every time you turn your console on...
