How can I record or capture the screen of my Wii on the PC?

Hi all! A question people, how can I record or capture the screen of my Wii on the PC?

Well, the problem is that I have a 4k TV and when I connect the Wii the image is stretched SO MUCH that it looks HORRIBLE !!!! I mean, the Wii has a resolution of 640 × 480 (480p).

To avoid that ugly image scaling my question is if I can connect the Wii on my PC and put the window in 640 × 480, For example, in Dolphin (Wii emulator and GameCube) I can use the original resolution ...

EYE - the difference is brutal !!! I really swear! when I put the emulator in 640 × 480 (original resolution) and compare it with the TV GOD! the one on TV is pixilated, fuzzy, ugly! that's why I want the original resolution!

CONCLUSION!

I want to connect the wii to my PC in window mode, not Full Screen! Use Sizer 4 to put the window in 480p in case to the flies! Smile Thank you

PS: I leave a picture so they realize that it stretches a lot, it's crazy, please help!

Moving to Delfino Plaza, since this isn't related to Dolphin itself.

You have to use a capture card to get the picture of your wii on PC. If you want to play in real time, buy a lagless one. But it will probably don't look as good as Dolphin, because of the Wii video output and the cable.

What kind of cables are you using for connecting your wii to your TV ? If it's composite, it's no surprise the picture is bad. S-video or component cables are better, especially the last one, you can set the Wii to 480p instead of 480i.
Also, set your Wii and TV to 4:3, anamorphic 16:9 just looks terrible on modern TVs.
Some TV have a "non scaled" option that displays the picture on its original resolution, kinda like windowed mode you're looking for, it's worth checking out if your TV can do it.
Finally, even with the best cables, most TVs do a terrible job at upscaling 480p content, you can look for a high quality upscaler to do it before the picture goes to the TV, like the Framemeister or the OSSC (which is technically not an upscaler, but a line doubler).

Personally, that's what I use : Wii (set to 480p 4:3) -> component cables -> OSSC (480p x2 = 960p) -> HDMI -> My monitor (set to 4:3)
From France with love.
