Hi everybody,

i have Wii and controllers, but i want to play my games in HD.

I installed Dolphin 5.0 and my question is simple and advance sorry, i know maybe that this question is very redundant:

How can i play like in console? With my genuine controller and motion ?

I need to buy Dolphin bar ?

In my pc i have CSR dongle ( http://www.dx.com/p/ultra-mini-bluetooth...ack-143276 )

so i need only dolphin bar to use my controller and play for example to zelda skyward or Wii Sport, Bowling etc, normally?

Thanks for the support and already sorry for this question, but i don't want waste my money.

Dolphin only really needs two things to work with a controller - a bluetooth connection and a sensor bar (which is only needed for the pointer). You already have bluetooth, so you're set on that front. The sensor bar is actually just two sources of IR light, so there are a lot of things that can be done to make it work. 'Proper' sensor bars have clusters of IR LEDs to release light fairly evenly, but if you're going to be mostly keeping the controller in one place, then you can get away with just one for each side, for example by putting weights on the buttons of TV remotes, as they use IR light to signal the TV. The cheapest solution, though, is to use two candles, although this can be a nuisance, slightly unsafe, and potentially look less professional than an electronic solution.

What I did for mine was buy a cheap Wii sensor bar, then convert it to run off USB power by replacing the power lead and changing some resistors. This requires at least some electronics knowledge, time, and equipment. It's also possible to buy bars which already have a USB cable.

The Dolphin Bar is a little different. Not only is it a sensor bar, but it also includes the bluetooth connection. It doesn't expose this to the OS as a regular bluetooth dongle, though, and instead has different modes, where it can be set to work with Dolphin's native support, or work with other software by exposing the Wiimote as a gamepad. It also used to be the most reliable way of connecting to certain Wiimotes, but recent changes to Dolphin have achieved better support without it.

i'm reading now your reply and in first i want to say thanks for that.

So i guess the best solution is dolphin bar, to have a simple and like console solution, right?

Buy a sensor bar and cut, put an usb connector, is a cheap solution, i love this way but dolphin on ebay is on 20€, so is a little price to have a plug'n'play solution ( i hope )

3rd party wiimotes tend to not work, if you can get a -TR wiimote you can even use it on windows 8+ with any bluetooth adapter.

Although 3rd party Wiimotes should work in the latest dev builds on Linux just as well as official Wii remotes, I still suggest buying the original ones.

You need a DolphinBar in this case.

If it's a load cheaper, the addon will work, but it's nicer to use the integrated version as the controller isn't as long and unwieldy.
