I have an HP Pavillion laptop. My native resolution is 1920x1080. What settings to your recommend for the best performance/graphics balance?

There is a hardware forum by the way. Anyway I don't know the i7 you have but I going to guess it a 4 gen or newer give it had a 940m in it. The default setting for the most part are fine. You can mess with internal resolution to mprove virtuals to get a balance of performance over grapic quality. Async ubershaders with the compile shader before game start will remove any shader stuttering assuming no driver issues. You want to use direct x over opengl for this though. If the chip has a u the end of it it will likely be harder to get consistent performance due to the low power of those chips though.
