How can i make Pokemon Colloseum run better?

ATM, PC runs really well especially on the overworld sequences. However, i experience slowdows duing battle sequences especially when using Quick Attack which produces some afterimages that my pc cant handle.

I use 720p res, no AA, no AF and i have MMU enabled. Is there anything i can do to increase performance?
