I cannot for the life of me get it to work. It keeps looking for the SD card but the 2017 doesn't have one.
It only has a USB port and I have a flash drive in it.
I can't really get anything to work with this Shield 2017.
Has anyone gotten Dolphin up and running? Wold you please tell me what to do?
This has really got me beat. Been trying for nearly 2 weeks now and it is frustrating as all.

Do you see a file browser option in dolphin? That should allow you navigate to the external sd card.

Hi
Okay I was finally able to get dolphin to get to the games on my flash drive and I was able to get one of them running (animal crossing city folk)
but the Shield game controller doesn't work at all and I cannot find any settings to get it to work.
Any idea how to get this gamepad working with Dolphin?

I should mention that the SETTINGS in Dolphin for Gamecube and the Wii input are both blank pages?? There is nothing there.

Do you see a section called "controller bindings" or something similar?  That's were you can map controller inputs to the shield's gamepad.

Hi
I found it and the controller responds but the games run soooo sloooow and the audio stut...stut...stutters heavily. Is there any fix for this?
I have tired many settings adjustments but nothing works. Getting sorry I bought this thing.

Which game are you running? Animal crossing should be full speed - at least the GC version. But many games are by far not fullspeed.

Hi
I was running Animal Crossing City Folk which is a Wii game. I will try the GC version.  I have been playing Super Mario Sunshine which runs nearly full speed (maybe 90%) but the Audio is not so great but good enough not to be distracting.
I can start Super Mario Galaxy (a Wii game) but when I get to the part where I have to enter a name I cannot scroll down to confirm it. The cursor stays above that area. Same thing happens with ACCF, I cannot confirm the name I enter so I cannot go any further.
I have noticed that there are only a few emulators in the Google Play store and I have tried to download and install some using a flash drive but they do not work at all, don't even see them except in the Apps listing.
Seems like most apps do not work with this Shield TV. And it's odd that there is such a skimpy selection available with the shield.
I would really like to see the GC and Wii games run on this (as well as all the others)

I just added animal Crossing for the GC and it runs slow about 80% of full speed. The sound is choppy and slow as well. Only good thing is the game controller works properly with this game.
I would appreciate knowing what settings or tweaks you all use to make these games work with Dolphin.

Super mario galaxy is a very hard game, and it likely won't ever run fullspeed on the shield. Please keep in mind that it is still a low power device.
